No Air Passenger Duty for 12 to under 16 year olds from 1 March 2016
The UK Government announced on 3 December 2014 that the GB Air Passenger Duty (APD) will no longer be charged for children between the age 12 and under 16 years on e
conomy class seats for travel from 1 March 2016.
If you are making a booking for a young adult to travel on or after 1 March 2016, you will no longer be charged an APD on the child's booking.
If you have previously made a booking on ba.com for a young adult to travel on or after 1 March 2016, you will be eligible to receive a refund if:[INDENT]
* The young adult on the booking is between the age of 12 and not yet 16 on the date of your flight departure from a UK airport.
* The young adult must be travelling in Euro Traveller or World Traveller (economy) class on, or after, 1 March 2016.
In order for us to make this refund you need to confirm the date of birth of each young adult travelling.
