Dit hebben ze volgens mij pas veranderd.

Ja dat klopt. Vorig jaar zomer heb ik 2 van de kaarten aan de kassa aangeschaft voor mijn 2 meiden. Ze kunnen dan alle achtbanen doen op één dag en je hebt ook nog ruimte om de rest van het park te zien. Zonder zo'n pas wordt het volgens mij erg moeilijk.

Busch Gardens to let kids 5 and under in free for rest of 2010

We know the theme park is trying to bring in tots and their parents with the new Sesame Street themed play area. But now they are giving parents even more of an incentive: children ages 5 and under will be able to get in for free for the remainder of 2010. Usually only toddlers ages 2 and under get that freebie. More details to come on how to sign up from the Suburban Diva, Tracey Henry, who is also trying out the new character breakfast this morning.

Big, free fun for little ones at Busch Gardens this year

We told you about all of the new happenings coming this spring to Tampa's Busch Gardens with the new Sesame Street’s Safari of Fun, a 2 ½-acre play land with kid-size rides, water fountains, and other fun attractions, but the good news just got better with the announcement that kids can experience the fun FOR FREE.
Acknowledging that serving families and younger guests was an area that Busch Gardens wanted to improve upon, Donnie Mills, executive vice president and general manager announced today that kids five and under could explore the new attraction (and the rest of the park) for free for the rest of 2010.
Although the Safari of Fun won’t officially open until March 27, you can take advantage of this special offer now. Simply visit the Web site and register online under “Free Preschool Pass” before you come to the park. Once there, you can redeem your free pass with your registration confirmation and child’s birth certificate. This offer is only available to Florida residents.
Don’t forget to check out the other fun options on the Web site as well. In addition to games and videos and photos of all of the new attractions, you’ll also be able to reserve your table at Dine with Elmo & Friends, a new opportunity to eat a couple of cookies (or scrambled eggs) with Cookie Monster and other furry friends.
Another special treat for families? Forty-four spots in a preferred parking area will be reserved for guests with strollers so they can bypass the tram. Spaces are limited, but no additional fees will be charged for these prime spots. (You can request the parking spots at the parking tollbooths.)
All of these new family-friendly additions and specials mean big time fun for your little one.

Is het druk in september in dit park?

Eerste weekend van september is Labor day weekend (incl. de maandag) en dan is het best wel druk. Voor de rest is het niet druk in september. In de weekenden wat drukker dan doordeweeks.

Ik zou in begin augustus naar Bush gardens willen gaan. Nu vroeg ik mij af welke dag ik dat het best deed. Tot nu toe staat in mijn planning Bush Gardens op donderdag 5 augustus. Ik dacht dat op een weekdag er misschien minder mensen naar Bush Gardens zullen gaan en het dus kalmer zou kunnen zijn. Of maakt dat niet zo veel verschil uit?

Ik zou ook op zaterdag 7 augustus kunnen gaan (en zo wisselen met Kennedy Space center) omdat het park dan open is tot 22u en ik de avondshow zou kunnen zien. Of is dat eigenlijk niet echt de moeite?

Toen wij in 2008 naar DC gingen hadden we die bewust op de zondag gepland omdat dat de dag is dat meestal drukker is in de parken als door de week. in DC is er toch een limiet aan bezoekers. Denk zelf dat door de week voor jou ook gunstiger is.

Alleen zal het dan wat drukker op de weg er naar toe zijn. Vorig jaar ( in july) zijn wij door de weeks naar Busch Gardens geweest en hadden toen flink wat ochtendfile richting Tampa. Een aantal dagen later gingen we op zaterdagochtend, konden toen zo doorrijden en het was heerlijk rustig op de weg (en in het park trouwens ook...)

Wat is de tijd tussen de 2e en 3e rit in een atractie bij de Quick Queue Unlimited, aangezien je niet meer dan 2x achter elkaar mag.
