KISSIMMEE, Fla. --
When Reenie Madrigal moved to Central Florida, she never dreamed she'd own a Christmas store. But now, after five years, she couldn't imagine doing anything else, WESH NewsChannel 2 reported. Her store, A Christmas To Remember, is helping Christmas become more of a local holiday. The store sits right outside the Florida Mall in Kissimmee. Inside, you'll find the usual decorations, such as trees, ornaments and home decorations. She also carries things you won't find anywhere else. She has holiday decorations that are Positively Central Florida."You can't go into a regular department store and find as much as we have in here. We have 13,000 square feet of merchandise. Hopefully we'll sell it all. It's really fun to work here. You'd be surprised, but we sell a lot of the tropical stuff and the nautical stuff. Flamingos sitting on lawn chairs. Santa surfing," she said.Hers is only a seasonal business, and the store will close in January. She'll probably be in a different location next year, but the one thing that stays the same is her emphasis on items that are unusual, unique and ours. The store is on Florida Mall Avenue on the grounds of the Florida Mall.
