Pi Day is marked by fun Pi and math-inspired activities, movies, treats in the Café and special admission promotions.

What is Pi? The relation of the circumference to the diameter of every circle is the same. This constant is known as pi from the Greek perimetros and is expressed as approximately 3.14 or as 22/7. Pi is essential to descriptions of motion and mechanics and it is useful to everyday life.

Why Dalí and Pi? Salvador Dalí was fascinated by math, seeing it as the intellectual dimension of virtual beauty. He used mathematical principles such as perspective, geometry, ratio and proportion to provide clarity to his work. He was delighted by the irrational numbers Pi and Phi, returning to them as sources of inspiration throughout his career.

Cost: General admission on March 14 will only be $3.14 for children ages 6-12 (normally $7) And Adults and Seniors (ages 65+) can download a coupon by clicking here to receive $3.14 off admissions.
