Een artikel kun je op meerdere manieren "toevoegen".

1. Link plaatsen.
2. Link aan een woord of meerdere woorden koppelen.
3. Tekst kopiëren en in een quote plakken.

1. Link plaatsen

Ga naar de betreffende webpagina waar het artikel op staat, kopieer daar de adresregel (http://www. etc), ga naar het Florida forum en plak daar de adresregel. Klik op "Reactie versturen" en klaar is Klara.

2. Link aan een woord of meerdere woorden koppelen.

Kopieer de adresregel van het artikel (zie hiervoor), ga naar het Florida Forum, selecteer in je bericht het woord / de woorden waar je de link aan wilt koppelen, klik boven je bericht, plak de link in het popupscherm, enter, klik op "reactie versturen" en klaar is Klara.

3. Tekst kopiëren en in een quote plakken.
Op de webpagina waar het artikel staat selecteer en kopieer je de tekst van het artikel. Ga naar het Florida Forum, open een nieuw bericht, klik op boven je bericht, plak de tekst tussen de twee quote-codes, voeg nog tekst toe voor of na de quote-codes (het forum "eist" dat een bericht buiten de quote minstens tien teksttekens bevat), klik op "reactie versturen" en klaar is Klara. Controleer nog wel even of er geen rare zaken zijn meegekopieerd, of de opmaak een beetje klopt. Zo niet, bewerk je bericht dan even zodat e.e.a. juist is.

De uitkomst van het kopieren / plakken is afhankelijk van de internetbrowser die je gebruikt. Zo "plakt" Windows Internet Explorer meestal wel links mee, terwijl bijv. Opera dat niet doet. Kwestie van Trial and Error, gewoon proberen dus. En gaat er iets niet helemaal zoals je wilt ... gewoon opnieuw proberen. En lukt het na een paar keer proberen nog niet, dan kun je uiteraard altijd vragen.

Katina, a 34-year-old female, gave birth to her seventh calf tonight at 7:28 p.m., a SeaWorld spokesman said.

The great-grandmother went into labor at 6:47 p.m. and delivered a 7-foot-long, 350-pound calf. It swam to the surface moments later for its first breath, the park said.

Mother and calf are bonding, and veterinarians and caretakers are making sure the baby starts to nurse, park spokesman Nick Gollattscheck said. The sex of the calf won't be known for a while.

Tonight's news was welcome for the Orlando theme park, where the firstborn of Katina's calves, Kalina, 25, died suddenly on Monday. Results of a necropsy could take up to six weeks. In June, Taima, a 20-year-old female, died at the park giving birth to a stillborn calf.

The new calf's father is Tilikum, a 12,000-pound male who in February drowned a SeaWorld trainer in front of park patrons. The death made national news.

According to an online profile, Katina is the most successful whale mother in captivity and the oldest orca at SeaWorld Orlando.

The newest calf is the 16th born at SeaWorld Orlando and the 27th at all three SeaWorld parks in the U.S.

Bij de quote heb ik wel wat nabewerkt; meegekopieerde "troep" weggehaald en de titel dikgedrukt gemaakt. Foto's worden niet meegekopieerd (kun je wel apart plaatsen via imageshack of zo) en koppelingen in het artikel meestal niet meegenomen. Als ik alles kopieer uit het betreffende artikel en niet nabewerk krijg je dit:

SeaWorld has a new baby: a killer whale born tonight.
