Even niet opgelet.

Leuke avond gehad!

Standaard Nieuwe dinnershow: Tony 'n Tina's Wedding

    Tony 'n Tina's Wedding

    THE LONGEST RUNNING COMEDY EVER!
First Show will be Feb. 14th, 2007
with performances 7 nights a week!
Since opening February 14th, 1988 in New York City this unique theatrical experience has won over the hearts of thousands of people, in over 100 cities worldwide, including Japan, Australia and many European cities.
A Great New Dinner Show in Orlando. Like nothing you've experienced before. Be the invited guests of the Vitale and Nunzio families. The evening starts with a nuptial ceremony, like none ever experienced! Just as everyone catches their breath from the uh, "interesting" ceremony, the reception begins. Appetizers are served, along with a terrific Italian meal and scrumptious wedding cake. While everyone's getting reacquainted with "the family", there will be dancing, karaoke, champagne toast, big laughs and big big fun!
Beginning again Feb. 14th at Pacino's Dinner Theater in Kissimmee
    Reservations Required.
Editor's Note - This was our favorite show in town (and we've been to them ALL!) It's longer than most (running a full 2+ hours), has great atmosphere without seeming like a football stadium, great food and incredible performances by many of the actors. I took an 11 and 14 year old and they were hysterical! Don't miss this.

Get yourself invited to TONY N’ TINA’S WEDDING, now celebrating its 17th Hilarious Year in New York! At TONY N’ TINA’S WEDDING you don’t just watch the show…you are the show. It’s an all-inclusive event where you’re treated like one of the family.
The event begins with the side-splitting ceremony where anything can happen (and usually does!). Then, it’s time for the most hilarious wedding reception you’ll ever attend! You’ll enjoy a full Italian meal, raise a champagne toast, eat the wedding cake and dance the night away at the party you and your friends will be laughing about for years to come. The show stars "Tina," the headstrong 20-something party girl bride with an attitude – and "Tony," the rowdy, handsome, yet charming groom-to-be.
Other hilarious characters emerge from this quirky cast, which includes an entire wedding party of guests ranging from "Connie," the pregnant maid of honor, to "Father Mark," a priest who thinks he's hip. As the evening unfolds, the only guarantee is that there will be plenty of drama all around.
The New York City/ Broadway production of Tony 'n' Tina's Wedding, which has been a hit since the mid-1980s, is produced by Jeff Gitlin and Raphael Berko, who are also the producers of the show in Las Vegas and Bermuda. They also produced the show at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa from 2002-2004.

Misschien leuk om te lezen. de review van de show in New York:

    nytheatre.com review

    David Pumo · January 8, 2005
Anthony and Valentina are getting married… again. And you’re invited. Actually Tony Nunzio and Tina Vitales have been getting married over and over again since 1988 at various venues around the city. Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding is one of the longest running shows in off-Broadway history. Well, they’ve recently moved the festivities to a new midtown location—Sophia’s Restaurant on West 46th Street—with a new producer, so we thought we’d see how the party is holding up.
Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding, in case you haven’t heard, is an interactive show—the audience participates throughout, playing the part of invited guests at a “typical” Italian wedding in Queens. As interactive shows go, this one is quite well carried out from beginning to end. Before we'd even entered “Vinnie Black’s Coliseum” catering hall, where the show… uh, party takes place, the mother and brother of the bride had greeted us on line as they hurried in. Inside, we quickly met other family members, along with Vinnie and his wife, Loretta, the former Miss Trenton New Jersey. The atmosphere surrounds you and fills every corner of the room, from the overblown decorations to the prerequisite nun and priest getting us ready for the ceremony. After being seated at our table I got up to find the men’s room, and ended up being escorted by my sleeve by Vinnie and Loretta’s “mentally challenged” son. Shortly after that, the groom’s dad invited us to a meeting with the other men in the back room following the ceremony.
After the bride’s cousin, Sister Albert Maria, led us in a song I vaguely remember from catechism, the ceremony got under way. We meet most of the characters during the ceremony, including Big Anthony’s bimbo girlfriend, the bride’s gay brother, the pregnant maid of honor, and other stock “cuginos” and “paisanos.” After the ceremony, bottles of champagne and antipasto are served, and the party gets underway, complete with a terrifically tacky cover band that started their set with a lounge version of J-Lo’s “Let’s Get Loud,” and kept us dancing with mostly disco and eighties standards. Dinner is served, the cash bar stays open, and the guests move about interacting as much or as little as they like with the actors, which includes everyone from the wedding party to the servers.
The events that follow are somewhat predictable, but lots of fun. Many fights break out as the family and friends get drunker and drunker, and lots of little family secrets are revealed. I wont tell you what they are. Half the fun of the show is seeing how much you can find out and sharing it with the people at your table. The actors do a remarkable job of staying in character as they go from group to group, or drag you out onto the dance floor, treating you as cousins they haven’t seen in a long time. The more you play along and engage in conversation with the actors, the more you find out. The only plot twist that kind of annoyed me—though I knew it was coming—was when the men’s meeting in the back turned out to be about the “family business.” There are Italian Americans who aren’t in the Mafia (this reviewer, for instance), and being stuck in that box does get a little tedious. Nonetheless, even that scene had me laughing out loud, as Big Anthony went into the men’s room to cool down, and then exploded out, attacking one of his thickheaded relatives.
Tony n' Tina's Wedding has been running on and off—mostly on—for more than sixteen years, and I don’t see an end in sight. Sure, you’ve seen all these characters before. But what it lacks in originality, it more than makes up for in fun and laughs. It’s a crowd pleaser, for sure. And the best part is, when the show is over, they’re not really your family.

    Standaard Re: Dinner Show Orlando

Hi, Ik ben eind oktober 2006 in Orlando geweest.

    Shoppen in Orlando is super!
