Hey Linda, het leven is simpel! Parkeren doe je in de parkeergarage, volg de bordjes en kijk van te voren even goed waar het bezoek aankomt, in terminal A of B. Scheelt een eindje lopen!
Afspreken kan je in de centrale hal van Terminal A of B. Je kunt bij de uitgang van de trein plaats nemen en dan komen alle passagiers voorbij.....Vriendelijk verzoek om niet alle binnenkomende passagiers te omhelzen......[-X.
Je kunt ook voor de luchthaven, op een apart parkeerterrein, wachten op de zg. cell phone lot. Dit is gratis, het is de bedoeling dat je de passagiers ophaalt zodra ze je gebeld hebben. Je rijdt dan tot voor de ingang en instappen maar.
Als je ze op de luchthaven wilt ontmoeten dan, zoals Teleton zegt, parkeren in de parkeergarage en dan is het naar mijn mening het handigst om bij de bagageband af te spreken. Wij hebben het nu een paar keer gedaan en het is heel simpel.

Automated Passport Control will eliminate the declaration card by placing all of the necessary questions on the kiosk. Travelers will then receive a printed receipt and show the receipt rather than the hand-written card. Travelers will then show their passport, kiosk receipt and any other travel information to the customs agent for processing.
This is quite a technological investment: the number of kiosks to service incoming travelers is considerable, especially with the ballooning traveler numbers coming in on larger aircraft.
Even though individual handwriting may be difficult to read, the primary advantage of the handwritten cards is that they can be completed during the flight prior to arrival. By creating another line, a mass of incoming travelers waiting to use the kiosks may actually be more frustrating. First, a traveler must stand in line to use a kiosk, and then they must stand in line to wait for the customs agent. Unless there is some sort of mobile deployment, this technology might create a new problem.
Typisch Amerikaans. Na de kiosken moet je ook nog langs de immigration officer. Waarom toch weer dubbel?

Dan moet je wel rechtstreeks op Orlando Intl. vliegen... welke maatschappijen doen dat vanuit NL?
Geen enkele maatschappij. Wel vanaf Londen en Frankfurt.
We gaan het over 2 weken wel even testen. Als het net zo goed gaat als bij de Alamo-kiosk (bij mij iedere keer) dan ga ik wel weer in de rij ;)
Volgens mij is dit "Global Entry" van dit gebeuren dien je lid te zijn.
