Het is een goedkoop motelletje geworden achter Duvalstreet; 'Blue Marlin'. Voor ons geen luxe ik kom er alleen om te slapen. Nu maar hopen dat er geen huricane komt in de periode dat wij er zijn, want Eric jouw verhaal van de orkaan vond ik toch erg spannend hoor.

Volgens mij ben ik er wel eens langs gelopen en zag het er keurig uit.
En, heel belangrijk, vlakbij Duval street !!
En mocht er een hurricane komen, ga je gewoon naar Sloppy Joe's, want daar houden ze dan een hurricane party !!!

dit is de laatste review die ik van de Blue Marlin kan vinden;

Stayed at the Blue Marlin the week of May 23, 2007. Was here on two previous occasions, but sadly my most recent experience fell short of previous stays.
The property is a little dated, and the bedding/pillows show the strain of years of use. Housekeeping did an adequate job, but somehow the dead bug in the corner of the bathroom eluded their cleaning efforts during our stay.
The front desk workers provided the most basic levels of service, though I couldn't help but feel any question I asked seemed bothersome to them. I knew the Blue Marlin's "legacy" was now a distant memory when I asked the front desk if they would be kind enough to print a flight schedule for me. The reply I got was "I'm sorry, but we're not allowed to access the Internet."

Wow.

Placards in the room warned guests that no high-speed access is available (only dial-up), and calls exceeding 30 minutes are subject to telephone charges.

I didn't plan on bringing a laptop on vacation with me, and made the incorrect assumption that a request for a printout would be a simple effort.

I'm sorry Blue Marlin, the 3rd time was not the charm for me. You may have a nice quiet location, but I would have expected a little more service for the prices you charge.

Bedankt voor deze review. We gaan evengoed nog wel naar de 'Blue Marlin', printen doen we thuis wel weer.

Gisteren de reisdocumenten van AE ontvangen. Onze villa ligt volgens mij best goed, aan de Vineland Highway redelijk dichtbij Seaworld.
