Op de website van dit hotel wordt gesproken over een uitgebreide renovatie van 2006 t/m 2008 door de nieuwe eigenaren. E.e.a. zou dus weer helemaal spic en span moeten zijn, of er zijn nog wat laatste onderhoudszaken te doen:

By 2006, however, the Sheraton World Orlando Resort was in need of an update to accommodate the changing expectations of a new generation of Orlando visitors.
The new owners immediately began a multimillion-dollar renovation that would span all areas of the resort, including guest rooms, event space, dining and recreation areas. International Plaza Resort & Spa would remain open throughout the ongoing transformation, with enhancements to take place in three phases through 2008.
