Oh...gelukkig. Zo gaat mijn vrouw altijd tijdens de vlucht, direct na dat de lampjes "fasten Seatbelts' zijn gedoofd, regelrecht naar het toilet. Daar blijft ze dan zo'n drie kwartier tot een uur met de Story en de Privé. Dan klop ik drie keer lang en één keer kort op de deur en los ik haar af. Alle andere klopsignalen worden genegeerd. Ik hou daar het met de I-pad en een goeie film wel een uurtje of twee vol. Vervolgens komt mijn vrouw weer terug en kijkt zij de film.Citaat:

We zijn dan al dik over de helft van de vlucht en als het even kan lossen we elkaar nog een paar keer af. Met een beetje geluk en een dikke zaterdagkrant houden we dit tot een uurtje voor de landing vol en zo hebben we altijd de beschikking over onze eigen schone wc.
Uiteraard is dit ook niet ons hoofddoel. Ik vind het gewoon prettig om een beetje extra beenruimte te hebben. En verder geen gekkigheid, natuurlijk.
De kluisjes worden geopend en het slotje vervangen / opnieuw geprogrammeerd.

No, there are plenty of tubes available at no additional charge in the areas tubes are allowed in. You can sign out complimentary life vests for little children in the water parks so do not bring any in.

No, there are requirements for appropriate swimwear. You cannot wear swimwear with rivets, buckles, exposed metal or neoprene on the water slides. Diaper-age children must wear swim diapers. String back or thong suits are not permitted at Disney water parks. (tip: Ladies, it is best to wear one-piece bathing suits if you are planning on doing all the water slides and the big wave pool if you want to keep covered.) You also should not wear jewelry such as necklaces and earrings.
7. Is the water heated?
Yes! The water remains a comfortable temperature. If it gets too cold to keep the pool heated then the park will close. The park also closes for inclement weather. Make sure you check the weather for the day you are planning on going because once you enter you cannot get a refund.

Yes! You can bring in your own food and beverages except for alcoholic beverages or anything in a glass container. You can use a wheeled cooler to help transport your picnic food and drinks.

4. What should I take to the Water Parks?
Be sure you are wearing appropriate swimwear, definitely bring sunscreen. Get the kind that protects you even when swimming, and reapply it per the instructions on the bottle. You may want to wear sunglasses while walking around and in the lazy river or relaxing on your lounge chair. You may want to wear water shoes as the concrete feels pretty hot on your feet when standing in line for a slide or walking up the hot stairs to get to the top of the mountain. It would be good to bring water bottles in with you, or the money to purchase some to stay hydrated in the sun all day. You should have a towel to dry off with. Check out the park map to get an understanding of where things are that you want to experience, and know where your stuff is in relation to everything else. Bring your courage because these water slides are amazing!
3. Are there any rules for the water parks?
Yes, Disney has safety tips for guests to follow at the water parks. They include: do not run, wash your hands often, apply sunscreen, don’t swim when sick, change diapers only in the restroom, use only swim diapers, don’t drink the pool water, go to the restroom often, shower before entering the water, no diving or horseplay in the water, please abide by all safety warnings and notices.
2. What kind of food can I purchase in the water parks?
Typhoon Lagoon offers burgers, pizza, sandwiches, salads, snacks, sodas, ice cream, beer, wine, turkey legs, hot dogs, fresh made doughnuts, and adult drinks. Blizzard Beach offers burgers, pizza, sandwiches, salads, snacks, pretzels, popcorn, ice cream, fresh fruit, smoothies, frozen lemonade, adult beverages, snow cones, turkey legs, soda, and hot dogs. Some of the kids’ meals are served in buckets with shovels to play in the sand at the park. You can even get giant ice cream sundaes in the same play buckets. There are Chase ATM’s inside the park if you need more cash. If you are staying at a Disney resort you can use your Magic Band to make purchases. The Magic Bands are waterproof so you can wear them all day without worrying about them getting wet.

Yes. At Blizzard Beach the highest slide, Summit Plummet that drops you almost straight down on one of the world’s tallest and fastest freefall body slides is 48”. The Slush Gusher, a 90-foot long high-speed body slide, has a height requirement of 48”. Tikes Peak has a height maximum of 48” for this area geared toward the younger crowd. Typhoon Lagoon’s Humunga Kowabunga, where you shoot down Mount Mayday on this near vertical, five story body slide, in the dark, has a 48” height requirement. Also at Typhoon Lagoon the Crush ‘n’ Gusher, where you board 2 or 3 person rafts for these three different tubes on this water coaster, the height requirement is 48”. There is another height requirement that has a 48” and under for Ketchakiddee Creek where the younger crowd can experience slides and raft rides and more.

Zelf heb ik al e.e.a. gevonden, volgens mij zijn er grofweg 3 opties:
1. Dagkaart --> $ 50,-- pp
2. Fun option --> Meerprijs tov normale entreekaarten van disney (bv je koopt 3 dagen entree, dan mag je 3 andere dagen naar de waterparken of andere fun opties)
3. Annual pass --> $ 104,-- pp (zie http://www.wdwmagic.com/other/water-...nnual-pass.htm)
Voor mij is optie 3 de mooiste, alhoewel nog wel redelijk prijzig als je dit vergelijkt met bv Aquatica of Wet 'n Wild. Als iemand andere opties kent, ik hoor het ook graag :) Optie 2 is goedkoper, maar dan moet je ook naar de andere parken willen.
