Muddy Buddy
To all of our Partners in Grime, we welcome you to the 2008 Muddy Buddy Orlando on May 10, 2008! This unique trail running and biking race is sure to be fun and challenging for everyone. Both beginning athletes and experienced racers alike will have a great time along the course and through the obstacles, especially in the infamous Mud Pit! We can't wait to see you there, so grab a buddy and prepare to Get Dirty.

Registration has reached capacity for 2008 Muddy Buddy Orlando and is now CLOSED!
If you missed this chance at fun and adventure, then check out Expedition Everest™ Challenge. Just after sunset, teams of two take on the exotic terrain of Disney's Animal Kingdom™ Theme Park in a fun, competitive 5K run, obstacle course, and scavenger hunt. If you have what it takes to conquer this challenge, then find a teammate and join the trek!
EVENT DESCRIPTION
This race features a 6.5 mile course and 5 obstacles. At the start of the race, one team member will run and one will ride the bike. At the 1st obstacle, the rider will drop the bike, complete the obstacle, and begin running. The runner will arrive, complete the obstacle, find their bike, and begin riding. Teams will continue leapfrogging each other through the entire course. At the end of the race, racers will crawl through the infamous Mud Pit crossing the finish line together!
AGE REQUIREMENT
All participants must be 14 years old by May 10, 2008 in order to participate.
ENTRY FEES
New for 2008! When you register for the 2008 Muddy Buddy Orlando you will have the exclusive opportunity to purchase specially priced Theme Park Tickets for you and your family and friends to enjoy either Epcot® or Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park.
Entry fee includes Muddy Buddy tech t-shirt, goody bag, and one raffle entry. All Muddy Buddy participants will also receive a 6-month subscription to National Geographic Adventure magazine.
Team Registration Only
$145 per team, plus the option to purchase Theme Park Tickets and a post-race BBQ
Additional Theme Park Tickets
$35 (Each team will be eligible to purchase up to eight (8) Theme Park Tickets)
Theme Park Ticket Information and Restrictions
The specially priced Theme Park Ticket can only be purchased during registration. The Theme Park Ticket is valid for one day only and is good only at Epcot® or Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park (ticket is not a Park Hopper®). The Theme Park Ticket can only be picked up at Packet Pick Up on Friday, May 9, 2008 or Saturday, May 10, 2008 and will be valid from Friday, May 9, 2008 through May 23, 2008. Tickets not picked up at Packet Pick Up will not be mailed or refunded to the participant.
Each day this ticket is used at Epcot® or Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park constitutes one full day of use. Advance purchase is required for all special ticket offers listed above. Ticket types, entitlements and prices subject to change without notice. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. Parking is not included.
PACKET PICK UP
Packet Pickup will be available ON-SITE on Friday, May 9 from 4-8 PM. All participants will be required to sign a waiver at check-in to receive their t-shirt, goody bag, and timing chip. TEAMMATES MUST CHECK IN TOGETHER. Packet pick-up will also be available on-site on the morning of Saturday, May 10 before the race. We recommend that you check in on Friday if possible since the lines will be long on Saturday morning.
