Learn how you can bring a bit of the captivating beauty of Cypress Gardens home to your lawn and garden during The Festival of Flowers, February 22-March 30, 2008.Âť This annual lawn and garden show is set against the natural beauty of the park and features activities for all ages.
Take a garden tour and learn about the flowers and plants found throughout the history of Cypress Gardens. Discover the inside scoop on the time, effort and knowledge necessary to keep these historic botanical gardens green and blooming throughout the year. Watch demonstrations on creating the unusual topiaries, as well as other how-to clinics and exhibitions. Home Depot will also be on hand to show off the latest tools, tips and trends in gardening. Fridays through Sundays little ones will enjoy Garden Crafts for Kids, a series of hands-on activities such as making bird-feeders, creating pet rocks, seed-planting and more. Come enjoy all that's in bloom this Spring at Cypress Gardens!
ACTIVITIES:
Botanical Garden Tours - Daily at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.
This guided walking tour is complimentary and begins at the entrance to the Botanical Gardens.
