Dawn Returns to Hangar
07.26.07 -- Workers removed the Dawn spacecraft from the top of a Delta II rocket and took it back to Astrotech after the mission's launch was postponed. The spacecraft is scheduled to begin its flight to the asteroid belt in September. Technicians at Astrotech will continue to monitor the spacecraft and its systems while it awaits a return to the launch pad.
