Hierbij de foto's van een rondrit van 2 weken Florida.
De rit ging voor ons van Miami naar Key West, Ft. Meyers, Tampa, Silver Springs, St. Augustine, Tittusville, Orlando, Miami....
Na een wat mindere heen vlucht toch een geslaagde vakantie.... helaas niet helemaal droog dankzij de Tropische storm Alberto....

Omdat ik hier nieuw ben, wil ik jullie graag kennis laten maken met een aantal foto's van mijn zomervakantie 2006. Het was voor mij de 2e keer dat ik in Florida ben geweest en het was wederom super! De eerste keer was voor mij kerst en oud en nieuw 2001.
Om te beginnen wil ik jullie graag een tip geven. Het is namelijk heel erg leuk om eens op een zondag naar het plaatsje Goodland te gaan. Goodland ligt aan San Marco road, dat is de weg richting Marco Island (afslag langs de 41, Tamiami Trail ) en is een dorpje waar veel exentrieke mensen wonen. Je moet hier denken aan kunstenaars ed. Op zondag komen er allerlei mensen uit de omgeving hier naar toe om te eten, te drinken en te feesten op live muziek. De meeste van deze mensen zijn echte " Yanks " en zijn heel vriendelijk. Leuke bijkomstigheid is dat ze bijna allemaal op de motor komen.

Tot zover weer wat aanvulling. Graag zou ik willen weten of het mogelijk is om filmpjes te plaatsen. Ik heb namelijk hele leuke filmpjes gemaakt van o.a. de Lion King show ( Animal Kingdom ) en Illuminations ( Epcot ). Hoor graag van jullie de mogelijkheden.

Foto's van onze vakantie in mei. Na twee overnachtingen in Orlando zijn we doorgereden naar Miami. Na Miami zijn we naar de Florida Keys gereden. We hebben één overnachting genomen in Key Largo. 's Avonds zijn we naar Morada Bay café gereden voor een diner met zonsondergang. Deze foto's vind je in een aparte topic die ik al eerder heb geplaatst. De volgende dag zijn we vertrokken naar Key West. Onderweg zijn we gestopt bij Anne Beach.

Key West
Key West...de één vindt het te druk/commercieel, de ander vindt het helemaal te gek. Ik hoor bij de laatste groep. Voor mij geen Florida zonder Key West. Ook dit keer hebben we een heerlijk verblijf gehad op Key West. We hebben weer lekker kunnen relaxen. We hebben gewandeld en we zijn wat gaan drinken met medeforummer MarcelG. Dat was een hele gezellige avond! Marcel, we kunnen niet wachten om weer terug te gaan naar Key West. (Je weet waar we het over gehad hebben en de eerste stap is gezet...we hebben een nieuwe fotocamera gekocht ;)) Ondanks dat we er al vele malen geweest zijn hebben we weer veel foto's genomen.
